ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
Hotel Size: 118 Rooms
We are seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at the Best Western Premier Chateau Granville Hotel & Suites.
Job Summary:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in leading the housekeeping team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience who is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper helps manage daily operations.
Job Duties:
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in directing the activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments while ensuring exemplary daily cleanliness of the hotel and guest rooms
• Assists with training, scheduling, and motivating our all-star team
• Provides guest room status reports to Executive Housekeeper
• Inspect premises, guest rooms, linen rooms and public areas to ensure team members maintain the property’s superior standards of housekeeping
• Communicates all maintenance and repair needs to appropriate individuals
• Creates a service environment focused on the guests, with a passion for high standards in cleanliness. Responds promptly to customer needs
• Ensure good safety practices of team members and guests throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures
• Assists with performance evaluations and coaching practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years prior hotel experience in a supervisory role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Available Full Time
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization

HOUSEKEEPER
Vancouver, Full-time
Hotel Room Attendant required that has a passion for detail for busy downtown hotel. Must clean rooms to hotel standards and be courteous and professional when dealing with guests.
- This is a physically demanding job that requires bending, stooping, squatting and stretching to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks.
- Previous experiences as a Room Attendant or similar job would be a definite asset.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and adhere to housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Flexible for various shifts, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Good communication skills to interact with fellow employees and guests.
*Must have a valid work permit and be in Canada.
