In February and March of 2010, Metro Vancouver will welcome the world to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. As the agency responsible for the region's public transit system, TransLink will have a complete, integrated network of rapid transit, commuter rail, buses, passenger ferries and special transport services for the disabled to move visitors, commuters and residents to their destinations.
During the Games there will be road restrictions, increased vehicle traffic and no parking at venues and along key routes. Public transit, walking and cycling will be the easiest ways to get around, especially to Games venues and events in Vancouver and Richmond.
